We welcome all attorneys (active or retired), law students, and clergy to become members of the Orthodox Christian Attorney Network. OCAN is not just another professional association. Our mission is foremost about encouraging each other to serve Christ through our clients, parishes, ministries, and communities.
But we also exist to serve you – our members.
Your membership will provide opportunities for spiritual growth, professional development, and building meaningful relationships with fellow Orthodox Christians in the legal field.
Benefits include:
- Online and in-person gatherings throughout the country (including discounted rates for the 2026 national Orthodox Attorney Spring Retreat on April 24-26)
- Free CLE accredited webinars
- Access to members-only articles, videos, and other educational resources
- Access to the OCAN Member Directory to find and be found by other Orthodox attorneys around the country
- Connection with other Orthodox attorneys in your legal field, church jurisdiction, or local area
- Service and leadership opportunities
We hope that OCAN membership will provide a sense of mutual benefit and purpose, and not be a financial burden. Therefore, we have established a tiered fee structure as listed here, and do not wish to exclude anyone on the inability to pay.
We’re grateful for all of you who joined OCAN earlier and wish to honor your early participation by deferring your membership dues as follows:
- Members who joined prior to July 1, 2025, initial membership fees are due Mar. 31, 2026.
- Members who joined between July 1, 2025 to Dec. 31, 2025, initial membership fees are due June 1, 2026.
Subsequent fees will be requested on a rolling annual basis.
